Saturday 11th April proved to be a busy, and hugely enjoyable day for both our junior and adult members at Knowle Hill.
The morning kicked things off with an exciting milestone, as a team of five of our juniors headed over to Wraysbury Tennis Club for our first ever junior friendly match. It was a fantastic opportunity for our players to test their skills in a matchplay environment and experience a taste of tournament tennis.
The format was a singles round robin, with players competing against all members of the opposing team. The matches were played in a great spirit throughout, competitive but always supportive and respectful, exactly what we love to see.
We’re proud to say that Knowle Hill came out on top, winning 19 rubbers to 5, a brilliant result.A big well done to Jude, Mollie, Jasmin, Sam and Finn for representing the club so well.

Even better, this is just the start. These junior friendlies will now become a regular fixture, with Wraysbury juniors set to visit Knowle Hill for the return matches this summer.
The action didn’t stop there.
In the afternoon, we hosted our first Family Tournament of the year, and it was our best attended yet, with eight pairs taking part. The format brought together a great mix of parents and children, creating a really fun and inclusive atmosphere on court.
There was some excellent tennis on display throughout the afternoon, with plenty of close matches and great rallies. After a competitive set of rounds, the final saw Jag and Sukhmani take on Hannah and Grace, with Jag and Sukhmani coming out as deserved winners.
A big thank you to everyone who took part and made it such a success.
All in all, it was a brilliant day and a perfect way to kick off what’s shaping up to be a busy and exciting tennis season at Knowle Hill.
